The university is moving to Canvas by Instructure as our new centrally-supported learning management system. We have 17 Schools and Colleges; 2 branch campuses in Galveston, Texas and Qatar, UAE; 1 center for higher education in McAllen, Texas; and a footprint across the state of Texas through our Health Sciences Center. The Office for Academic Innovation at Texas A&M will support faculty across campus, the state of Texas, and around the world through our migration to Canvas. We seek to drive adoption through our migration and instill best practices for teaching and learning in a digital learning environment as we do so. Student success for all types of learners will be at the heart of our approach.

Texas A&M University will open a new state-of-the art classroom building in Fall 2020, and the Office for Academic Innovation will call this home! Our space includes a 1,350 ft2 multimedia production suite and 4 types of collaborative huddle spaces with a remarkable view of Aggieland atop the third floor. The Classroom Building will be the epicenter of our creative and collaborative processes to support faculty in Texas A&M University’s transformational digital learning environment.
